· Soft-haired Epimedium: Primarily distributed in southern Shaanxi, central-northern Sichuan, northwestern Hubei, and southern Gansu, it is commonly found in shaded areas of forests, slopes, or valleys at elevations of 300–2,000 metres;

· Wushan Epimedium: Distributed in narrow regions such as eastern Sichuan, northern Chongqing, and southeastern Guizhou, growing in mountain slopes with shrubby vegetation at elevations of 750–1,300 metres;

 

· Coarse-haired Epimedium: Primarily produced in Guizhou, Chongqing, and central-southern Sichuan, with additional distributions in northeastern Yunnan, western Hubei, and northern Guangxi. It is commonly found at elevations of 290–2,100 metres in forest understories, shrublands, or along water ditches.
